Terms

Last updated: 8 October 2026

These terms cover buying and using Kansei Link. By buying, installing or using it, you agree to them.

Who we are

Kansei Link is made by Braw Cyber Security Ltd, registered in Scotland (company number SC890898). Registered office: 7 Home Farm Steadings, Blackridge, Bathgate, Scotland, EH48 3SG. Contact: [email protected].

Buying

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms cover your payment. Tax is added at checkout.

What you get

  • Basic: the install package for your car, with ten built-in themes.
  • Pro: everything in Basic, plus GPS lap timing, data logging and the Theme and Layout Designer for Windows 10 or 11, on up to 2 PCs.

Your download link arrives by email and works for 7 days. Ask us for a new one any time. Updates within version 1.x are free. Major new versions may cost extra.

Will it work on my car?

Kansei Link works on the Mazda MX-5 ND (ND1 and ND2, roadster and RF) running Mazda Connect 74.00.324 or 324A. Nothing else. Check your firmware before you buy. On any other firmware, the installer stops and changes nothing.

Mazda can change your car's software at any time. We can't promise Kansei Link will keep working after that.

Your licence

You're buying a licence to use Kansei Link, not the software itself. The licence is yours alone, for cars you own. It can't be sold, or passed on with the car.

You can't:

  • share, sell or post the software, your licence key or your download link;
  • get round the licence key or the 2-PC limit;
  • copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer Kansei Link, except where the law allows;
  • share or sell themes you make in the Designer. They're for your own cars only.

Break these rules and we can cancel your licence and switch off your key, with no refund.

Third-party parts keep their own licences, listed in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md in your download.

Your risk

Kansei Link is unofficial. Mazda doesn't make, approve or support it. You install and use it at your own risk:

  • it may affect your Mazda warranty;
  • a Mazda software update will remove it;
  • it's not a replacement for your car's speedometer;
  • lap and 0 to 60 timers are for track and off-road use only.

You're responsible for how you drive, for the road laws where you drive, and for telling your insurer about modifications. Read Safety before you install.

Our liability

As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for:

  • damage to your car, its head unit or any other equipment;
  • repair, dealer or software update costs;
  • warranty claims Mazda turns down;
  • fines, penalties, accidents or insurance claims;
  • lost data, lost time or any indirect loss.

As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Kansei Link.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit. Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Refunds

See our refund policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you bought applies to your purchase.

Law

Scots law governs these terms, and the Scottish courts deal with any dispute, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
